Happy new year! First post in 2012!

Took a really long break from blogging due to working schedule and stuffs.But it has been a meaningful 2011. Last year,the most terrible thing that has happened to me and my family is that our pet cat died. The best thing in last year is probably everyone is still together and meeting new people.

Really really small and compact.

I've played around with it for quite sometime now, its prominent feature has appealed very much to my liking. Its small size makes it very convenient to bring about anywhere and anytime. As I'm easily turned off by those big and bulky types of cameras(eg. DSLRs ughhh...so heavy) due to my small human size.

With this baby I can go around freely without worrying and extra weight I need to carry. Though you do need to install a program which you will need to extract the pictures later. Below are some pictures That I took with the Fuuvi chocolate camera.

Tomorrow.

Yes, tomorrow is the day. My graduation. Oh god its going to be a bit emotional, hahaha. Can't help it =D Just felt as though like yesterday was my first day in college.

Remember a few posts before that I posted about my friend's graduation exhibition? Well, now it was my graduation exhibition few month before. The journey was like a bittersweet taste, except the sweetness comes after and stays in your throat, if you know what I mean.

Introducing Spire85! I know its a bit late by now but this is to commemorate all my friends and graduates from The One Academy for their hard work and perseverance throughout these 3 years. Congratulations everyone! We've made it!

We are the spires.

We started off a bit slow, but we managed to build up a logo and identity to promote us, the graduation batch 85 which was also the last batch ever to have a graduation campaign such as this. I was lucky enough to be voted (more appropriately add "unwillingly") to join aboard the committee member and witness the brain storming of an idea.

It was excruciating at first, we were literally creating something out of nothing. And because of the past success of Curio 81, we were kind of pressured to excel better and not letting everyone's expectations down. But finally after weeks and weeks of discussions and decisions, Spire 85 was born.

We kicked it off with a Valentine's day dedication cum orders of paper roses, chocolate fortune cookies with notes inside and custom made jewelery for your loved ones. Next was the promo events, this is where the fun begins.

I'm lazy to post all the pictures, but these below are pictures of the Spire wave promo. Its a flash mob where we line up in public and start making waves with our hands when someone walks by. I can tell you the reactions of those "victims" were of aghast, annoyance and amused.

Oh hi! Chinese new year is just around the corner, let me wish all of you a happy Chinese new year first! Woot woot! I will not be around to update my blog during the festive season as I am going back to my hometown for a little visiting. Its been so long since I've seen my uncles', aunties' and cousins' faces, and of course not to mention the angpaos too. Kekeke....

Mind you I've been overloaded with my college project as well, its my graduation semester, yes, I'm going to graduate soon, finally. Truthfully I'm really excited to go out to work. From the looks of my friends current situation, they are kinda enjoying their work. Though they do mention it is difficult and stuffs, but they are still alive you know. And that is enough a reason for me.

Currently I am considering a few companies to kick start my career, those choices include Poly Asset, Passion Republic, Codemasters, Rhythm and Hues and more if I'm introduced to them. Still in pending mode.

Today I went to sunway in order to get my timetable for a new semester, since I've got to know my results via our student portal (quite happy with my results actually, my efforts did not go in vain, very nice alphabets~)-- however when I got there they put up a notice saying that all results and timetable is only available online from this semester onwards. My face immediately become like this --> 囧

Ok lah, never mind since I have other plans as well, that is lunch with my best friends/sisters/姐妹 at the toilet concept restaurant "T-bowl". One, we were curious, two, we are curious. So we ordered from the menu and waited excitingly for our food's arrival.

My Christmas eve and Christmas day...

Everybody was busy with their own plans, so me and Celleste decided to celebrate our Christmas eve together, in Pyramid, drinking tea, yes, in a newly opened lifestyle cafe called Garden. But after that we went to Celleste's house to play "Jingle Bells" with her Gu Zheng 古筝 to pass the time.

For Christmas day itself, I went to church with Jacklyn, Jen and John, me and John thought that we were overdressed for that occasion but it turns out there are other people who are more stylish than us. After service and singing a few Christmas songs we felt the Christmas mood growing inside us and we decided to go to Fahrenheit and Pavilion.

Traffic jam is all I see in KL, nothing strange at this time of the year. Being first time at Fahrenheit, I was excited to scout around this new shopping mall which everyone had mentioned so much. We went to Uniqlo too, but to me there is nothing much to see. But the stores outside of Uniqlo are interesting, I managed to build a list of stuffs I'm going to buy when I've gotten my salary, heh heh ♥

Merry Christmas and happy holidays! Its a bit late though but may the season's greetings feel your days. In this very last month of 2010, I've been feeling rather down and happy at the same time. Down because of the disappointing things that has happened throughout this entire year; and happy to have a clear target and what I am going to do now and next.

Oh and of course, this very semester my friends from my original batch (81 batch of The One Academy) has finally unfasten their anchors and set sail to start a new journey. While I am still stuck here for another extra semester, its no big deal but I dread to see my beloved friends leaving one by one. Those familiar faces, will I ever see them again? In real life of course, no big deal looking at their pictures in facebook.

Recently I have attended their graduation showcase in MapKL, it was amazing thinking that we could pull off something that is so amazing! I'm talking about industry level standards. Then in my little heart I thought:" Hey, we did it!", after 3 years of sleepless nights and excruciating stresses from endless assignments and projects this is the result.

Here is a sneak peak on what I'm currently working on at this moment, web design! Thats right, we had a class specifically on this subject. Our objective is to create our own distinctive website to showcase our work and present it online as a portfolio. Hopefully someone will stumble upon it and gets interested, it like we are selling ourselves >3<

The screenshots below are just a preview of my current progress, I am now testing on the javascript which will later be coded into my site. But for now please take a look at my progress.

This is the main layout for all my pages. This is my first time building a site so I'm pretty lack in experiences in making one.

This is my "awesome" footer. All the subjects and colours are suppose to make people feel relaxed, calm and a feeling of freedom.

Rollover effects! I love them, or maybe I have an affinity for moving objects, heh. When you click on the link, it will bring you to the page you want to view and the link itself will stay like that orange box thingy. Great for telling the audience which page they are on.

And last but not least, my "awesome" logo! It moves too! Yes, I must make things move in my site, maybe its in the blood of animators. By the way, I made my logo in Photoshop and saved it as a GIF file. Its simple and practical just the way I like it.

Aduh......Just finished an intensive session of gaming. Yes, I know its 4am, I admit that I have a passion for gaming. I'm just so hooked on to an Action-based online RPG called "Dragon Nest" or "龙之谷". I have a few friends who play with me, its a really good gaming experience especially when you Skype with each other in order to build a strong teamwork. And yes, the battle system is really intense and addictive.

I'm too lazy to explain how the game works here, need to get some sleep soon. But before I leave you hanging , here are some screenshots I took in-game to finish off my post. Enjoy.

I have opened my eyes.

I was blinded by the future and I didn't bothered looking at the present. It was a huge mistake. Never ever I will repeat it. I'm so deluded with people's issues that I became what I did not. I felt miserable and depressed these past few days, clinging on to that string of Hope. Now I realized its not Hope I'm clinging on, instead it was a future that has yet to happen.

I laughed to myself and said :" What the hell am I doing?" Many wise words has come and go by me, though I tell myself to do what you believe in and believe in what you do. But sometimes, the audience of the play knows the story best. Time to not be ignorant anymore and listen. Time to grow up. Time to make better decisions. It will take a long time to wash off all the sand from the beach, but eventually it will.

I won't wait for the traffic light to turn green anymore, I will find another route to continue my journey. Maybe we will bump into each other and say hi if our paths crossed. I will and have always appreciate everything around me, if you can't feel it, please remember I always and had always did.

Grudge is not what I want to take along in my life journey. It slows and holds people down. Though how much people hate or despise me, I just let negative thoughts dissolve in my memories only to be brought out and laughed at again in the future. Face towards the light and the shadows will fall behind you.

I am still waiting for that moment, that magical moment that people had told me. The moment I have tasted before. Self achievement. It has happened before, it will happen again.

Oh my god, I simply just fell in love with the bass. Although it is not obvious in a band but man do you really feel it uplifting the entire music. I was inspired by the soundtracks from the anime "k-on", those J-pops are really addicting.

K-on!

But why the bass? Its simple, I love it. It doesn't stand out but it is an essential foundation for the music.
So, being motivated by my friend to join Faith Music in her church, I took the first step in getting to know about bass and how to play it.

It. Was. Addicting.

Seriously you will have to try something in hands first before you judge it, it is totally different from what you've imagined.
After that magical experience, I am determined to get a bass of my own. I've had my eye on some brands and soon I began hunting and stalking any shop that sells musical instruments. Though I have not met the bass of my dreams yet, but I would prefer it in glossy white. Classy~

Work in progress. My personal work

So out of touch with people this few days.The work up there is one of my old works, just dug it up from its grave to fill in my void blog. Currently working on it, hopefully I will post up the complete version ^^

Recently, I've found back my true old self. Well not exactly "old" self, but the improved old self I shall call it. Now everything seems so clear in front of me, my life targets feels like they can be grasp so easily. I feel really positive about this, thanks to everyone in my entire life~

Today papa brought us to makan to celebrate my big day . Happy betul-betul. So went Dragon-i in The Curve Damansara.

Wow, that was the best bestest meal I've ever had in a few months. Satisfying. We order a platter of spinach, Mapo toufu, crispy skin duck, pork in a steamy delicious gravy with buns to go with, rice with all the yummy and juicy meat and sauce, and the signature dragon dumplings.

I wished we can have dinner together as a family more often, its more fun and relaxing.

Phew.....Looooonngggg month. But things have turned out for the better.

Both my papa and mama going to belanja me ma~kan(eat) for birthday, best betul. I lub them so so much and they know I appreciate them and feel grateful too. *wear cosplay, lolita(waloli is also included), please.

*litter the grounds

*wear slippers, sandals or flat heeled shoes instead

*wear neat clothing or yukatas

*smoke in designated areas only

*pick up and clean up after you have finished you meals on the ground
